About Us

I have been a firefighter in the suburbs of Chicago since 1998. I was promoted to Lieutenant in 2014 and like to carry a New York Hook and Halligan bar as my tool complement. While these tools are very versatile for the majority of fire calls, they do not marry up well and are cumbersome at times. I found myself always having to lay the Halligan bar on the ground when accessing a Knox Box or addressing a fire alarm panel. I searched for a marrying strap for this complement of tools and was unable to find anything, so I began developing my own. I began using my strap and had many firefighters on my department and neighboring departments asked me where I got it. I started making straps for local firefighters and eventually realized that this is a product that could benefit the entire fire service.

Through the course of my career, I have also been tasked with purchasing equipment for our apparatus. I found that some items are extremely expensive, and the items that are reasonably priced are not quality products or take a great deal of time to get. With this in mind, I developed a number of other straps that can be utilized by fire departments all over the world.
